**Congrats to team on Thursday's STA meet and JH Boys took a second in New Orleans(4points from 1st) with 3 top 10 finishes. Lydia was top 3 out of 200+ registered girls on a muddy and challenging course. ALL athletes ran with Heart and determination. The MOST important award received this week and for the whole year in my opinion, was the Newman Sportmanship Award that was given Saturday to the team that exemplified true sportmanship character and spirit. The honor was given to St. Joseph Catholic School of little ole' Ponchatoula. Out of all the teams/kids there at the meet, OUR Crusaders were recognized for their example of what True Sportmanship represents. I am Honored and Humbled by the receipt of this award. LESSON to be Learned: People watch your every move; the examples we set each day, truly have an impact on others; as Crusaders, lets continue to make them POSITIVE ones.
Proud,
Coach Kirk
