PricingCAFETERIAPRICING Lunch Elementary Student Lunch – full price $2.45/day Elementary Student Lunch – reduced $0.40/day Adult Lunch – school employee $3.35/day Adult Lunch – visitor $3.75/day Breakfast Student Breakfast – full price $1.25/day Student Breakfast – reduced $0.30/day Adult Breakfast – school employee $1.95/day Adult Breakfast – visitor $2.15/day Extra Sales $0.50-1.00/item Policies and ProceduresCAFETERIAPOLICIES AND PROCEDURES ** If there are any special dietary concerns for the 2009-2010 school year, a doctor’s excuse along with a diet prescription form must be submitted as soon as possible so that special accommodations can be made. ** Each student will have one account that all money will be placed into. ** In order for your child to participate in Extra Sales, additional money will need to be deposited into your child’s account. Extra Sales Guidelines (as set by the LA Department of Education) 1. Students participating in the Child Nutrition Lunch Program can purchase the following Extra Sales items: an extra entrée, extra salad, extra vegetables, extra fruit, extra roll, extra milk, ice cream, cookies, fruit juice, bottled water, etc. 2. Students not participating in the lunch program can only purchase milk, water, or juice. ** No fast food, canned drinks, or candy is allowed in the cafeteria during lunch. ** Parents are welcome to eat in the cafeteria. Your meal cost is $3.75, and you must bring exact change. Parents or siblings not enrolled in the school may not charge their lunches to a student’s account. ** Monthly menus, planned on a repeating 3-week cycle, will be posted on the school and Diocesan web sites. The only changes to the menu will be due to ordering and Lent. Payment Collection ProceduresCAFETERIAPAYMENT COLLECTION PROCEDURES ** There will be no charging of any meals. Please be sure that your payment is made before the 1st of each month. ** A student cannot be served if there is no money in his/her account. ** Payments can be made annually, semi-annually, or monthly by check or money order. (Please include all students’ names or lunch numbers on payments.) ** Online Payments can be made by bank draft or credit card. ** Payment can either be sent with the student to his/her homeroom teacher or mailed to the cafeteria. ** Cash payments should be hand-delivered to the cafeteria office by a parent. The cafeteria and/or teachers will not be responsible for any lost cash payments sent to the school. ** Only cash or a cashier’s check will be accepted after April 11, 2010. ** There will be a $33.00 charge on all NSF checks. ** Refunds – At the end of the school year, parents may receive a refund of unused money from the student’s account by requesting it in writing prior to the last day of school. Money will not be rolled over. All refunds will be mailed from the Child Nutrition Program office. |
