The St Joseph Spring Fair is finally here. We are looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you this weekend. We hope you and your family enjoy the food, rides, entertainment, and the rest of the activities that are planned for the weekend. Please do not forget to volunteer to work a shift at the fair. In order for it to be a success, we need help from everyone and prayers for good weather!

THE FAIR WILL BE OPEN FOR YOU ENJOYMENT DURING THE FOLLOWING TIMES:

Friday: 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am - 11:00pm

Sunday: 12:00noon - 6:00pm

Confetti Egg Booth

Mrs Susan Casey is collecting clean eggshells for confetti eggs at the spring fair. You can send them to school in the cartoons.

How to clean eggshells:

1. Make a quarter sized hole at the top of the raw egg.

2. Pour out raw egg and rinse.

3. Place back in carton.

4. Drop off all egg cartons in the gym.

  • AFTER SCHOOL CARE will be closed on April 22nd. Please make arrangements for your children.

  • WE WILL NOT HAVE SCHOOL ON MONDAY APRIL 25TH AFTER THE FAIR. PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR CHILDREN.

Registration:

If a student is accepted into St. Joseph School, the registration fee is non-refundable. The registration fee is additional to the tuition.

Tuition:

Tuition-in-full is due to the school office by Friday, April 29, 2016. A late fee will be charged after this date.

REMINDER

Football surveys that were sent home to the boys in 5th, 6th & 7th grade are due to the office on Friday April 22nd.

SJS CHEERLEADERS

Congratulations to our St Joseph Cheerleaders!! They competed this past weekend in Pensacola, Florida at the US Finals competition and placeD 1st in their division. Not only did they take home a giant trophy and banner, but each girl was awarded a white US Finals jacket. Good job girls, we are very proud of you!

Mini Cheer Clinic

The St Joseph Cheerleaders will host their annual MINI CHEER CLINIC on Saturday May 14th for any St Joseph student in grades Prek thru 4th grade. The cost is $35 a mini cheerleader. Anyone wishing to sign up must return the paperwork to the office by Tuesday May 3rd. Each mini cheerleader will receive a certificate, ribbon and tshirt as well as participate in a performance at the end of the clinic.

4H

4-H students participated in a fun filled activity day at the Tangi 4-H Fest in Amite. Congratulations to Ella LeSacchire and Irma Hyde for earning the placement as most valuable 4-H members.

Drama Club

The Drama Club is gearing up for their production of Beauty & the Beast on Friday May 6th and Saturday May 7th. We are offering a ticket presale. The presale ticket is $5 for an adult and $3 for a student. You may purchase tickets at the door the night of the play but the price will go up. If you would like to purchase an early ticket, please print the form below and return it to the office. Make checks payable to St Joseph School.
